YS Jagan, the leader of the YSRCP, recently brought up the issue of leaders bidding goodbye to the party during a press meet. In response to a media question, Jagan gave a sharp reply. He mentioned that it could be Saireddy, those who have left, or those who may leave, but the most important thing for anyone is their character. Vijay Sai Reddy, the senior leader of YSRCP, who resigned from his Rajya Sabha seat and said goodbye to politics, is still making headlines. Jagan's comments about him leaving the party have stirred up responses from Sai Reddy. Today, he gave a strong counter on his X (formerly Twitter) account. Specifically, Sai Reddy's reply to Jagan’s remarks about his character has become a topic of discussion.
Sai Reddy stated that during his time in the opposition, threats and temptations were common, and only those who stood firm in such circumstances are remembered by the public. He further mentioned that people who were scared and left should not be given any importance.
He emphasized that patience was required while being in the opposition and questioned whether leaving parties and yielding to pressure would earn respect. He mentioned that character and credibility were essential. In response to Jagan’s comments on his lack of credibility, Sai Reddy sharply replied. He made a post on X stating that he had never succumbed to any temptation due to his values, trustworthiness, and character. He clarified that there was no fear in him, which is why he resigned from his Rajya Sabha seat, party positions, and even politics itself.
