Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand reviewed the P-4 policy aimed at eradicating poverty through Public-Private-People Partnerships (P-4) in a meeting with officials. The government plans to implement the policy from the next Ugadi, focusing on uplifting the economically disadvantaged sectors of society. The policy encourages participation from industrialists, NRIs, and others to help the poor. Special efforts will be made for policy design with inputs from the public through a dedicated portal.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand reviewed the P-4 policy on Thursday with officials at the state secretariat and district collectors who participated virtually. He stated that the government is taking steps to implement the P-4 (Public-Private-People Partnerships) policy from the next Ugadi and that it aims to eradicate poverty. The main goal of the P-4 policy is to provide support from the 10% of the economically advanced people in society to the 20% at the lowest levels of poverty. He emphasized that the P-4 policy will be implemented based on these suggestions and recommendations. He also mentioned that industrialists, NRIs, and others who come forward to help the poor will be invited by the government to the inaugural event of P-4 on Ugadi day, uniting them under a single umbrella to kick-start the implementation of P-4. The Chief Secretary further stated that the government is receiving suggestions and advice from the public for the complete design of policies and that a special portal is being created for this purpose.

In the meeting, the Chief Secretary of the State Planning and Finance Department, Piyush Kumar, presented a PowerPoint presentation detailing the implementation of the P-4 policy and the steps to be taken for housing, village, mandal, constituency, and district planning as part of the Vision for a Golden Andhra Pradesh 2047. Additionally, the Secretary of Industries and Commerce, Dr. N. Yuvaraj, explained the actions required for MSME survey management through a PowerPoint presentation. He mentioned that, as part of the Golden Andhra Vision 2047, plans for housing, villages, mandals, constituencies, and district levels must aim for a 15% growth rate every year.
